Hello everyone.
(he-lō ev-ē-wun)
With less than three months left until the end of the year, 2026 has entered its final countdown.
(with les than thrē munths left un-til the end of the yîr, twen-tē twen-tē-siks haz en-tərd its fī-nəl kount-doun)
Today’s topic—"the one thing you want to complete this year but haven’t yet," and “how you plan to restart after the holiday"—is something that truly speaks from the bottom of my heart right now.
(tə-dāz top-ik—"the wun thing yoo wont too kəm-plēt this yîr but hav-nt yet," and “hou yoo plan too rē-stärt äf-tər the hol-ə-dā"—iz sum-thing that trool-ē spēks from the bot-əm of mī härt rour now)
My biggest goal this year is to successfully graduate from graduate school next March by gathering my research and basically finishing my graduation thesis.
(mī big-əst gōl this yîr iz too səg-ses-fəl-ē gra-jə-wāt from gra-jə-wət skool nekst märch bī gath-ə-ring mī rē-sərch and bā-sik-ē fin-ish-ing mī gra-jə-wā-shən thē-sis)
Currently, I am conducting a large amount of interview research, but to be honest, both carrying out the interviews and organizing and analyzing the massive amount of data take much more time than I imagined.
(kur-ənt-lē, I am kən-duk-ting a lärj amount of in-tər-vyoo rē-sərch, but too bē on-ist, bōth kar-ē-ing out the in-tər-vyooz and ôr-gə-nīz-ing and an-ə-līz-ing the mas-iv amount of dā-tə tāk much môr tīm than I i-maj-ind)
Sometimes I feel anxious, and even doubt whether I can really finish it before the deadline.
(sum-tīmz I fēl angk-shəs, and ē-vən dout wheth-ər I kan rē-əl-ē fin-ish it bi-fôr the ded-līn)
Even so, the phrase “completion is more important than perfection" is deeply engraved in my heart like a personal encouragement.
(ē-vən sō, the frāz “kəm-plē-shən iz môr im-pôr-tənt than pər-fek-shən" iz dēp-lē en-grāvd in mī härt līk a pər-sə-nəl en-kər-ij-mənt)
Now I have let go of the anxiety in my mind and started to value every tiny accumulation day by day.
(nou I hav let gō of the angk-shə-tē in mī mīnd and stär-təd too val-yoo ev-ē tīn-ē ə-kyoo-myə-lā-shən dā bī dā)
Although I cannot finish everything in one breath, I have made up my mind to move forward step by step through every small step of today—I will carry this resolve and run through these last three months.
(ôl-ðō I kan-ôt fin-ish ev-ē-thing in wun breth, I hav mād up mī mīnd too moov fôr-wərd step bī step throo ev-ē smôl step of tə-dā—I wil kar-ē this ri-zôlv and run throo thēz läst thrē munths)
After the holiday, I won’t disrupt this rhythm and intend to keep pushing forward with my thesis writing step by step.
(äf-tər the hol-ə-dā, I wōnt dis-rupt this rith-əm and in-tend too kēp poosh-ing fôr-wərd with mī thē-sis rīt-ing step bī step)
Let’s do our best together for the three-month goal we want to achieve this year.
(lets doo ôr best tə-geth-ər fôr the thrē-month gōl wē wont too ə-chēv this yîr)
Thank you everyone.
(thangkyoo ev-ē-wun)
