If my life could be extended indefinitely, I would stop making tightly packed plans for the future. Instead, my plan would be: “To live each and every moment more mindfully and deeply than anyone else."
Why? Because in reality, knowing that our time is limited makes us constantly chase after it, rushing to fill our schedules. We often feel pressured to get results quickly and maximize efficiency. Without realizing it, our minds become trapped.
But what if the “deadline" of our lifespan completely disappeared? I believe we would experience an unprecedented sense of peace and freedom.
With an infinite future, I would completely let go of my obsession with efficiency and outcomes.
For instance, the time spent carefully brewing a cup of coffee every morning. The moments spent losing track of time, talking deeply with close friends and family. Or learning a new language and practicing an instrument—completely ignoring the speed of progress and just purely enjoying the process. I would want to spend decades, or even centuries, savoring these small, beautiful details of daily life.
Because we would no longer need to rush toward the future, we could truly live “today" to its absolute fullest.
In planning this endless future, I choose not to be bound by distant schedules. I want to turn every passing second into an elegant luxury.
